WHAT IS THE STANDARD TURN AROUND TIME?
Our standard turn around is usually about 3 weeks depending on the time of the year. If you are in need of a rush repair, please let us know and we can get you pricing. Turn around down to 5 business days is possible but is subject to current demand.
WHAT DOES A REPAIR COST?
Short answer: it depends. In any case, it's less expensive than a new frame or even crash replacement pricing. Long answer: Each repair is fully custom and unique in its composite layup schedule and refinishing options. Send us a note with photos and we can get a quote going for you.
WHAT WILL MY FRAME LOOK LIKE?
Depending on your cosmetic finishing requests, it can vary. We can usually match most cosmetic weave patters on unpainted frames. The area of the repair is tapered into the existing undamaged fibers creating a smooth transition. Full paint and decal restorations are available through local bicycle paint shops that we will refer you to. One of the big things we want to emphasize when comparing carbon fiber repair operations is that just because it looks good, that doesn’t mean it’s actually a structurally safe repair. Paint makes it easy to hide poor repairs. We pride ourselves on the highest quality structural repairs backed by engineering degrees and decades of cycling experience.
WHAT WILL MY FRAME RIDE LIKE AND IS IT STRONG?
You won't notice any differences in ride quality. We match the layup pattern of the frame to match the mechanical properties of the frame. The frame will be as strong as new! Some other repair services market their repairs as being stronger than new. While this sounds good, making a frame stronger in one area can create stress concentrations which can cause premature failure in other areas.
WILL MY FRAME WEIGH MORE?
Our repairs will typically add 10-20 grams to a frames weight, nothing noticeable by any means.

HOW DO I GET MY BIKE TO YOU?
We recommend shipping via BikeFlights.com. They offer discounted rates and bike specialized bicycle shipping. We can accept full bikes but the smaller and lighter the box, the cheaper the shipping. Your return shipping cost will be added to your invoice. We will ship the bike using the same packing materials and method used when you send the bike. We use $1000 of return shipping protection. If you’d like more, please let us know. Please note minimum packing guidelines for protection.
